Todd Melman - Owner/CEO

Todd has been a reef aquarium hobbyist for 27 years and has worked in the aquarium retail & service industry for over 25 years. In 2010, he was Naui certified and has been diving ever since in places like the Florida Keys, where we helped on a Live Rock Farm, and the Fiji Islands. Beyond Reef Systems Coral Farm System’s mission, Todd often uses his expertise to collaborate & consult with publications, businesses, environmental agencies and academic institutions.
Andy - Lead Service Technician (2017-Present)

Andy has over 31 years of experience in the hobby, and is very grateful to be able to maintain some of the most beautiful saltwater aquariums and koi ponds we have ever seen. He is a proud father of 4 and enjoy scuba diving in his free time.
Stephanie - Manager and Internship Coordinator (2024-Present)

Stephanie started working at Reef Systems Coral Farm in December of 2024 as an Associate Manager, assisting with the OSU research project. She has her B.S. in Marine Biology and M.S. in Molecular Biology. Her previous work includes conducting coral disease research in the Florida Keys and collaborating with FFWCC on manatee genetics and population tracking. At RSCF, Stephanie is especially excited to expand her expertise in the care of captive-raised corals and to build an outstanding volunteer and internship program for local students.

Quinn - Aquarist Associate (2024-Present)

Quinn is a recent graduate at the Delaware Area Career Center studying Wildlife and Resource Management and plans on going to college for a degree in biology. Quinn has a strong passion for marine biology, all things nature and outdoors, taxidermy, video games, and playing music.

Dave - Maintenance Technician (2018 - Present)

Dave has had fish tanks since I was a kid. His first saltwater tank was a fish only tank in 2006, it was converted to a reef tank in 2017. He works full time as an aircraft mechanic for 26 years; 23 years of that on business aircraft. For fun he teaches scuba diving & rides motorcycles. He has been proudly married almost 20 years to Paula, and a dad to his four cats (Finnegan, Murphy, Bailey & Molly).
Liam - Aquarist Associate (October 2025 - Present)

Liam is a current junior at Olentangy Berlin High school. He started interning at the coral farm because of his strong passion for Marine Biology, specifically in behavioral science and conservation. He hopes to study these interests in college and pursue a career in them. He also participates in rugby and wrestling. He has four cats (Quinn, Archer, Earnie, Ollie) and one dog, Furgi.

Brinley (May 2026 - Current)

Brinley is a junior at Bowling Green State University majoring in marine biology and environmental science. She began interning at Reef Systems because she enjoys learning about coral species and reef ecosystems, and she hopes to specialize in coral reef ecology in the future. Outside of academics, she enjoys spending time outdoors and has a strong love for animals and the ocean.

Clayton - Intern (January 2026 - April 2026)

Clayton is an Environmental Science major at Cedarville University with a focus in Wildlife. He has always loved being outdoors and exploring all things nature and the systems surrounding flora and fauna. After taking a couple of wildlife specific courses and some previous hands-on experience with field work, he has developed a passion for wildlife below and above the surface. In his free time, he is often seen holding a camera, a paddle for his kayak, or a fly rod, sometimes all three at once!

Update: 2025 Andrea is an Aquarist 1 now in Florida at Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science . She is currently working with corals (SEACOR baby corals), raising them and fragging them from the substrates they settled on.
