Reef Systems Coral Farm, Inc. is a dedicated aquaculture facility specializing in the sustainable production of live corals, live rock, and freshwater koi. We provide invertebrates, captive bred fish, wild fish and dry goods for the marine aquarium enthusiasts. Our facility is centrally located in New Albany, Ohio, just outside of Columbus. Established in 2006, Reef Systems Coral Farm has been proudly providing healthy, parasite-free animals to our conscientious aquarist.
Full-Time Positions
Aquarist Associate
We are seeking a dedicated, full-time employee to assist in the care of marine fish, live corals, freshwater koi, and aquarium equipment while providing knowledgeable customer support. This is a hands-on position and ideal for someone passionate about marine life.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support daily farm operations
- Assist and engage with customers
- Help in the propagation of new corals, fragging, organizing animals, etc.
- Maintain aquariums and systems (tank cleaning, water testing, water changes, etc.)
- Ensure workspaces are clean and organized
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in saltwater aquariums
- Knowledge of aquaculture techniques and/or general marine aquaria
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working in hot and humid conditions
Online Coral Sales Manager
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who will be able to build-up an online presence to sell livestock. This position will have a base salary and structured commission based on sales from the website.
Key Responsibilities
Self-motivated, hardworking, and dependable individual who has experience in,
- Salt water hobby experience
- Experience and understanding of social media platforms
- Experience in taking photos and videos and professional editing
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Flexible schedule, including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Internship
Internships are for any individual who wants to gain hands-on experience in the world of aquaculture. Those interested in marine biology, ecology, conservation and/or sustainability are highly encouraged to apply. It doesn't matter if you have prior experience, we are looking for those who are dedicated to learning the ins-and-outs of what we do at the Farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Dedicated to a minimum of two 4-hour days onsite (at least one full day is highly recommended)
- Minimum of a 4-month commitment
- Accurately record a time-sheet and keep a detailed log of activities
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
Volunteer
Volunteering is for any individual who is looking to gain experience in the hobby but may need more flexibility in time commitment.

- Willingness to learn and ask questions
- Ability to be punctual and communicate if there are any schedule changes
- Accurately record a time-sheet and keep a detailed log of activities
