Internship/Volunteer

Internship 

Internships are for any individual who wants to gain hands-on experience in the world of aquaculture. Those interested in marine biology, ecology, conservation and/or sustainability are highly encouraged to apply. It doesn't matter if you have prior experience, we are looking for those who are dedicated to learning the ins-and-outs of what we do at the Farm. We align our internship lengths with college semesters. 

Key Responsibilities

  • For fall and spring semesters: dedicated to a minimum of two 4-hour days onsite (at least one full day is highly recommended) 
  • For summer semester: dedicated to a minimum of two full 8-hour days onsite 
  • Minimum of a 4-month commitment 
  • Accurately record a time-sheet and keep a detailed log of activities 
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions 

Volunteer 

Volunteering is for any individual who is looking to gain experience in the hobby but may need more flexibility in time commitment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Willingness to learn and ask questions 
  • Ability to be punctual and communicate if there are any schedule changes 
  • Accurately record a time-sheet and keep a detailed log of activities
